Man Almost Killed by ‘Sexually Frustrated’ Dolphin in Japan | World News

A man attacked by a “sexually frustrated” dolphin says he was lucky to be alive.

Last month it was reported that a single dolphin in Fukui, Japan, was responsible for terrorizing the city and was behind 15 attacks this summer alone.

There are reports that the dolphin attempted to press its genitals against other victims.

One of the people attacked is Takuma Goto, who was swimming with a friend at the time of the incident.

Dolphin attacks on humans are rare, which gave Takuma a false sense of security while swimming.

It initially attacked Takuma’s friend and Takuma swam to help it when he heard its screams.

He told the Telegraph how the dolphin then lunged at him in an unprovoked attack.

Takuma said, “I knew it wasn’t a shark, but it was coming right at me.”

“It attacked me and bit me.”

“It kept attacking me and I really believed I was going to die.” “What I feared most was that I would be dragged underwater and further out to sea.”

Eventually, a surfer came to Takuma’s aid and onlookers watched in horror from the beach.

When he got back to the beach, he washed his wounds with water.

Takuma continued, “The insides of my finger popped out.”

He was eventually taken to a nearby hospital and suffered a laceration to his index finger that required five stitches.

He also suffered bite wounds to his left wrist and forearm as well as his right hand and upper arm.

Experts believe the male dolphin may have been trying to communicate through biting, which is a common technique he may use.

The breed of dolphin that carried out the attacks is believed to be an Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphin.

This species often lives in groups, so it is believed that it bites people because it is lonely.

The dolphin could have been shunned from its own community, which is why it was necessary to try to be social with humans.

Nevertheless, warning signs have been posted around beaches to inform people about the dolphin.

Takuma says he never wants to go out to sea again because of the attack.
