Mandeville’s Festival of the Lake releases music program | Entertainment/Life

“The Voice” finalist Karen Waldrup, Bag of Donuts and Christian Serpas & Ghost Town will headline the live entertainment at Festival of the Lake in Mandeville Nov. 1-3, organizers announced Friday.

The 41st annual festival, held at Our Lady of the Lake Church and School at 312 Lafitte St. in Mandeville, is free and open to the public.

The festival has been providing live music, Southern food and family-friendly entertainment to residents of Southeast Louisiana for four decades. Foods for sale include gumbo, BBQ brisket, spit-fried chicken, pizza, funnel cakes, Banana Foster, frozen daiquiris and more.

Children and families can enjoy fire truck rides, face painting, arts and crafts, magic shows and musical fun at the Northlake Academy of Music.

Bingo on Saturday afternoon offers festival goers the chance to win $5,000 in the jackpot game.
