A man was killed in an officer-involved shooting at the Hollywood Casino

DEARBORN COUNTY, Ind. – A fatal police-involved shooter at the Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, left one man dead Saturday morning.

Lawrenceburg police responded to the scene for reports of a man following a woman through the casino and making threats. When they arrived, they were told there were additional reports of shots fired. As they exited the elevator, officers encountered the armed suspect and an exchange of gunfire ensued.

The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene.

Indiana State Police are active on scene. Further information will be released as the investigation continues.
