Jaipur, Oct 19 (PTI) An Air India flight between Dubai and Jaipur made an emergency landing at the airport here in the early hours of Saturday due to a bomb threat that later turned out to be a hoax, officials said.

After authorities were alerted to the bomb threat, a state of emergency was declared at Jaipur airport. The flight with 189 passengers on board landed safely at the airport at 1:20 a.m., an official said.

This is the latest in a series of bomb threats that various airlines have received on domestic and international routes. Most of the threats came via social media and all turned out to be hoaxes.
