“Dracula, a Comedy of Terrors”: The Old Globe presents this 90-minute parody of Bram Stoker’s 1897 novel but set in the present day with a narcissistic bed-hopping playboy vampire. 7 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays; 8 p.m. Fridays; 2 and 8 p.m. Saturdays; 2 and 7 p.m. Sundays. Birthday Block Party: The Nat will be open with free admission all day Saturday in celebration of its 150th birthday. Find games for younger San Diegans on the Nature Trail, meet scientists, enjoy snacks from The Craft Taco, see the new Paleontology Center and watch the film, “T. REX” for $5. A pop up rooftop bar will be open and visitors can participate in a scavenger hunt. Halloween cocktail pop-up: Black Lagoon Pop-Up is taking over Seven Grand this Halloween season to offer an immersive cocktail experience. Now in its fifth season, this year’s three-week pop-up will feature a “bewitchingly curated cocktail menu with Halloween-themed drinks,” according to event organizers. ‘Stranger Sings: The Parody Musical”: Oceanside Theatre Company presents this comic spoof of the Netflix sci-fi horror series “Stranger Things.” 8 p.m. Friday; 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday; 2 p.m. Sunday. Haunted Ghost Town: Ovation Theatre and the Heritage Ranch present Haunted Ghost Town, which will transport visitors to the doomed town of Bitter Gulch. This year’s ghost town tour features the arrival of a ghostly pirate ship, a cursed pirate crew and bone-chilling performances by professionally trained actors. 5 to 8:45 p.m. Oct. 18-20 and Oct. 25-27 at Heritage Ranch, 450 Quail Gardens Drive. Less scary experiences for children are from 5 to 6:30 p.m. followed by more spine-tingling presentations for ages 12 and older from 7 to 9 p.m., with the last entry at 8:45 p.m. Admission is $28; $16.80 for children ages 10 and younger. Inner Wave: Los Angeles-based band Inner Wave brings synth-driven, lo-fi sounds to San Diego. The quintet with Latin roots and indie-pop inspiration has recorded four albums since 2013 and created music for over 15 years. This year, Inner Wave also released “Apoptosis Remixes,” a collection of collaborations from various producers and artists of its fourth album “Apoptosis.” The Inner Wave show is scheduled to have Abraham Recio of Mu$Ty Boyz as the opener. 7 p.m. Friday. Spooky campout: The seventh annual Spooky Camp-o-Ween is back from Oct. 18-20 and Oct. 25-27 at Lake Jennings, 10108 Bass Road. Check in Friday and pick up creepy crafts, then listen to and tell spooky stories around the campfire. There will be campground trick-or-treating, a scavenger hunt and a campsite decorating contest. “Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show”: Cygnet Theatre presents this campy sci-fi/horror musical spoof about a couple who stumble upon a colorful mix of residents at a remote mansion, including the transvestite space alien/mad scientist Frank N. San Diego Spirits Festival: The 15th annual San Diego Spirits Festival takes place at the Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego in La Jolla. The event tailored to cocktail connoisseurs will have unlimited tastings from over 65 distilleries and brands such as Uncle Nearest Whiskeys, Flor De Cana Rums, Tanteo Tequilas and Camus Cognacs. San Diego International Film Festival: The San Diego International Film Festival wraps up this weekend. Themed for, “Celebrating the Power of Film,” viewers at the festival can see films of all lengths and genres. The buzzy new French film, “Emilia Perez,” starring Zoe Saldana, Karla Sofía Gascón and Selena Gomez, will serve as the closing night film. 10:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday. Bella Vita Fest: Italian food, wine, art and culture are honored at the Bella Vita Fest in Little Italy. The two-day event will have more than 30 chalk artists, depicting Italian themes, along with live Italian music, wine tasting, vendors and food for purchase. The festival is free to attend. University Heights Fall Festival: A pumpkin patch, live music, craft beer, food trucks and several family-friendly activities are what the public can expect at this year’s University Heights Fall Festival. Some of the free activities include lawn games, face painting, a bounce house and a scarecrow design contest. The paid activities are hay rides, hole-in-one-golf, pie tasting, a science station with three activities and an arts and crafts station. Clint Black: Celebrating the 35th anniversary of his debut album “Killin’ Time,” Clint Black is taking the stage at Humphreys Concerts By the Bay. Howl-O-Ween Harvest Family Festival: The Helen Woodward Animal Center is hosting a family-friendly Halloween event, filled with children’s activities, critters and creatures, pumpkins and more. Halloween jazz concert: Lucy Kalantari & the Jazz Cats will give a concert, Haunting Days of Halloween, at 11 a.m. Oct. 19 at UC San Diego’s Epstein Family Amphitheater. Howl-O-Sprint: For the first time, SeaWorld will host a 5K as part of it’s annual Howl-O-Scream festivities. Participants will be able to visit SeaWorld before the park is open to other guests and will run through spooky décor and character interactions. Costumes (except for masks) are encouraged. There will also be a 1K fun run for kids, and all participants can get 50% off admission prices after the run in addition to a t-shirt and finisher medal. 7 a.m. Sunday. Don Toliver: Singer, songwriter and rapper Caleb Zackery “Don” Toliver dropped his fourth studio album “Hardstone Psycho” this summer and is now promoting it on the Psycho Tour. The Houston native features hip-hop artists such as Travis Scott, Future and Kodak Black on his new album. Chris Botti: Award-winning trumpet player Chris Botti brings his talents to San Diego. Fallbrook Harvest Faire: Autumn-themed activities, local foods and contests are just a few of the things at this year’s Fallbrook Harvest Faire.
