One was arrested for robbery and shots fired

One person has been arrested following a robbery and shooting this afternoon.

On October 18, 2024, at approximately 2:55 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Mini Mart in the 1400 block of Anniston Drive for a robbery involving shots fired. When officers arrived, they learned that a male suspect entered the store and got into an argument with the clerk before firing shots from his weapon. No one was injured by the shots. The clerk was treated for non-life-threatening injuries caused by the disturbance.

Aubrion Johnson, 18, was arrested and charged with 1st Degree Robbery, 1st Degree Wanton Endangerment, 2nd Degree Escape (Identify Facility), 1st Degree Fleeing or Eluding Police, 2nd Degree Assault and Carrying a Concealed Weapon .
