The legendary Tully Blanchard used to work as a manager for AEW with the likes of Shawn Spears and Wardlow, but no longer. It was always unclear why Tully was fired from AEW, but Tully has now spoken out about the incident on his own Tully Vision podcast, stating that missing a show was one reason why.

I never had to lay anything out. Not Arn, not Flair, it was all “Okay, we’ll play it by ear” depending on what the audience does. And that’s how I always did it and it was like oil and water with the guys at AEW because they weren’t trained that way and didn’t do it that way. But everything worked out well. I was on TV for a while and was there with some great talent and was excited to do it and then you miss a show and get fired!
