WILLIAMSPORT — State police in Lycoming County are under fire for the second day in a row for their late submission of charging documents for the trial of a suspended Williamsport Area High School principal.

The criticism came during a hearing Friday that resulted in District Judge William P. Carlucci granting a defense request to continue Roger W. Freed’s three-day trial, which was scheduled to begin Monday.
