Fresno State vs. Nevada prediction, betting odds and how to watch

Under first-year head coach Jeff Choate, Nevada is clearly an up-and-coming program in the Mountain West.

The Wolf Pack most recently defeated Oregon State at home 42-37. But her schedule doesn’t get much easier today.

Nevada (3-4, 0-1 Mountain West) hosts Fresno State (3-3, 1-1) tonight. The Bulldogs were expected to be a conference championship contender this season, but they are coming off consecutive losses to UNLV and Washington State and are desperate to avoid falling below .500.

Fresno State vs. Nevada Prediction

I expect Nevada to win and cover the spread at +3. I also expect the game to achieve an overall score of under 49.5.

Nevada is playing at such a high level right now. With Brendon Lewis and Savion Red leading the Wolf Pack’s rushing attack, I was impressed with their offensive performance, especially against Oregon State. Jeff Choate is a good coach and Nevada played well even during their losses.

And I can’t help but think Fresno State has looked vulnerable this season. The Bulldogs lost to UNLV 59-14 and Washington State 25-17. And these aren’t bad teams at all, but I feel like Fresno State could be in for another disappointment, especially on the road.
