The highly anticipated return of the Palm Coast Fire Department’s annual Hall of Terror haunted house will arrive later this month, the city government announced Thursday. On Halloween and before, spook lovers of all ages have the opportunity to experience a free, hand-crafted haunted walking tour in a converted fire station.

The 23rd Annual Hall of Terror is open to visitors every evening from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on October 30th and 31st. Those who make the trek can expect a sizable crowd, as visitor numbers seem to reach new records each year the firefighters operate their attraction.

“Attendance at the Hall of Terror has increased year on year and we are pleased to be able to continue [to] provide residents and visitors with a fun and safe way to enjoy the Halloween season.” said Palm Coast Fire Chief Kyle Berryhill. The Hall of Terror was founded in 2000 under his predecessor, retired Fire Chief Jerry Forte. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, she only missed one year.

The event will take place at Fire Station 21 (9 Corporate Drive) just off Palm Coast Parkway SW. There will be food trucks on each day, with Kona Ice and Wandering Hoagie attending on Wednesday the 30th and Cool Beans BBQ and Sheila’s Funnel Cakes on Thursday the 31st.

A limited number of “RIP” tickets will be offered, with holders having the option to skip the queue for faster access to the hall. Those interested in obtaining a RIP ticket are asked to follow the City of Palm Coast’s Facebook account from October 21-25, where horror movie trivia questions will be posted daily and winners will have the opportunity to win a ticket.
