Warner Robins police arrest a man after a brutal attack on a 65-year-old woman

The Warner Robins Police Department (WRPD) arrested 40-year-old Christopher Davis after a 65-year-old woman was found with serious injuries early Friday morning.

According to a news release, WRPD responded to a call at 7:55 a.m. at 1861 Watson Blvd. about Tina Derickson, 65, who was found with serious injuries to her upper body and head.

Due to the severity of Derickson’s injuries, WRPD initiated an investigation and determined that Christopher Davis assaulted Derickson, hitting her with his hands, feet, and an unknown object. According to WRPD, the incident occurred around 12:55 a.m. in a corporate parking lot in Warner Robins, Georgia.

WRPD defined the incident as aggravated assault and Davis was arrested and charged with assault. Derickson was taken to a local hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.
