TikTok influencer killed in car crash while traveling to help hurricane victims | WIBQ The talk station

CLARK COUNTY, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) – A man who died in an accident in Clark County this week was trying to help hurricane victims.

Hayden Ryel, 20, of Hennessey, Oklahoma, was killed in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday while traveling between Martinsville and Marshall, Illinois. Ryel, a firefighter, was also popular on TikTok, where he amassed more than 50,000 followers and several videos with 500,000 views or more.

According to his Facebook post, Ryel was a member of the Dover Fire Department.

“It is with great sadness that we announce the death of one of our loved ones,” the department wrote. “We will miss Hayden very much. Our condolences go out to his family and our community at this difficult time. Rest up high on the mountain buddy, we got him from here!”
