A crash in Gibson County sends one person to the hospital and the road is closed

HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – A crash closed a road and sent one person to the hospital in Gibson County.

Sheriff Bruce Vanoven says that at 11:10 a.m., Gibson County Central Dispatch was notified of a personal injury accident on State Road 64 near County Road 750 East. Arriving officers discovered a Ford F250 was traveling east and pulling a front loader on a flatbed when the load shifted.

This caused the truck and cargo to move into the oncoming lane, striking a 2015 Toyota Camry.

Vanoven says the driver of the Toyota was freed and taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
