The bullet narrowly misses the sleeping child as shots are fired at the Youngstown apartment

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – No one was reportedly injured early Thursday morning after someone fired multiple shots into an apartment in the 1400 block of Rosewood Avenue.

Police were reportedly called to the home just after 5 a.m. where a man told them the sound of gunfire woke him up. Police found evidence of at least four impacts in the apartment, including one that narrowly missed a sleeping child.

Four 9mm shell casings were reportedly found on the street.

According to reports, the residents of the apartment had lived there for several years and believed that the shots might have been aimed at someone else and that their apartment had been accidentally shot at.
