Carter County Sheriff’s Office arrest reports

The following arrests were reported by the Carter County Sheriff’s Office:

  • On October 11, Transportation Officer Kevin Kemp met with Washington County deputies at Sinking Creek Baptist Church and took Anthony James Hale into custody on multiple warrants from the Carter County Juvenile Court. Hale is charged with two counts of failure to appear. He was taken to the Carter County Detention Center and housed without incident.
  • On October 11, Deputy Philip Tremblay responded to a trespassing complaint on Lacy Hollow Road. Upon arrival, Tremblay found Randy Keith Burrow Sr. in a home he had previously entered. The Chancery Court had ordered Burrow not to return. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Carter County Jail.
  • On October 11, Deputy Storm Scalf initiated a traffic stop on a blue Kia Soul driven by Jason Daniel Rose, who had an active warrant for aggravated domestic violence with a $5,000 bond. Rose was arrested without incident and transported to the Carter County Detention Center.
  • On October 12th, Lt. Justin Burchfield with Washington County deputies at Sinking Creek Baptist Church to take Michael Jason Tolley into custody for failure to appear on warrant. Tolley was transported to the Carter County Detention Center without incident.
  • On October 12, Deputy Zach Whaley responded to a vehicle accident on Dry Creek Road. The driver, identified as Gregory Allen Street, admitted to being drunk. After performing poorly on field sobriety tests, Street was arrested for drunk driving and agreed to a blood test. He was taken to Sycamore Shoals Hospital for a blood draw and then to the Carter County Detention Center.
  • On October 12, Deputy Hunter Skalecki responded to Noah Taylor Road on a trespassing complaint. Ashley Bishop, who had an active protective order against her, was found in the apartment. After resisting arrest, she was taken into custody and charged with violating a protective order and resisting arrest.
  • On October 14th, Lt. Johnathan Blevins with Johnson City Police at Sinking Creek Baptist Church and took Nathan Paul Oliver into custody on a Carter County Juvenile Court warrant. Oliver was transported to the Carter County Detention Center without incident.
  • On October 15, Sgt. Robert Scott issued arrest warrants for Michael Paul Williams at Oliver Wood Working. Williams was wanted on multiple warrants from the Carter County General Sessions and Criminal Court. He was arrested without incident and booked into the Carter County Detention Center.
  • As of October 15, Sgt. Holsclaw was serving two active arrest warrants for Katrina A. Peters-Tessa at the Carter County Detention Center for probation violation and failure to appear. Peters-Tessa was admitted by the Tennessee Bonding Company and released to correctional officers without incident.
  • On October 16, Sgt. Tyler Holsclaw responded to a single vehicle accident on Highway 19E. The driver, Christopher Michael Williams, admitted to drinking alcohol before the accident. After failing field sobriety tests, Williams was arrested for drunk driving, failure to exercise due diligence and violation of implied consent. He was taken to the Carter County Detention Center.
  • On October 18, Deputy Ronald Goins encountered Jason Berry on the side of Highway 19E with a flat tire. A records check revealed an active arrest warrant for Berry. He was taken into custody and transported to the Carter County Detention Center.

Note: All those arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
