A crash on southbound I-69 slows traffic near Exit 302, Jefferson Boulevard

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) — Traffic delays are occurring on southbound I-69 in southwest Fort Wayne following an accident.

The accident occurred just after 1 p.m. near the 301 mile marker, about a mile south of Jefferson Boulevard.

Fort Wayne Dispatch confirmed the accident occurred in a construction zone and contributed to traffic congestion.

The number of people involved and the extent of their injuries are currently unknown.
