Woodlanders Rare Plant Nursery is hosting a grand opening party at the nursery, 925 Park Ave., on Friday, October 25, at 4 p.m. SE. Celebrate the end of SC Native Plant Week and the opening of the new nursery. There will be light snacks and refreshments.

A free concert titled “A British Invasion” will take place Friday, Oct. 25, at St. John’s Methodist Church, 104 Newberry St. NW

There will be a trick-or-treat drop-in Friday, Oct. 25, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Aiken County Visitors Center, 133 Laurens St. NW. Come along, do some crafting, get a spooky surprise and show off your costume. This event is free to the public while supplies last. The Aiken Ghost Tours Haunted History Fall Tours will take place on October 25th, 26th, 27th and 31st at 6:30 p.m. Tours depart from St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church Cemetery. There will be a Yappy Hour Trunk-or-Treat Friday, October 25, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the SPCA Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare, 199 Willow Run Road. There will be costume contests, fire pits and s’mores, a bar, food trucks, live music, an open dog park and free pet adoptions. To reserve space for the trunk-or-treat, email [email protected]. The Aiken Lions Club is having a broom sale from 9 p.m. to 5 p.m., Friday, October 25, and Saturday, October 26, at the Mitchell Shopping Center near Unique Expressions, 1521 Whiskey Road. Proceeds help support the Lions Club’s missions.
