Exclusive Scare Tactics Clip: This Spooky BnB Has Creepy Dolls, a Possessed TV and Cookies

Jordan Peele and Monkeypaw Productions reboot the popular comedy-horror series Scaremongering has fans screaming for more! The reality show is about unsuspecting individuals set up by their friends and/or family who fall victim to horrific, hilarious pranks orchestrated by a clever group of con artists with a sizable special effects budget. Hosted by Flip, a ghostly teenager with a television for a head who is obsessed with all things macabre, this twisted series is perfect for horror and prank lovers alike.

Can’t wait to enjoy the event? Well, you’re in luck! We have an exclusive first look at Episode 3. The clip begins with two guys – Artur (the prankster) and Logan (the target) – checking into a BnB. While the house itself is spacious and features large windows, the centerpiece of the interior is a tattered, creepy-looking rag doll. “The doll is a no for me,” Artur tells Logan. “But it’s still cute,” Logan replies, ready to enjoy their vacation.

You finish looking around and sit on the couch facing the TV. On a table in front of them is a plate of cookies, seemingly left there by their BnB host. “Here, have a cookie,” Logan suggests playfully. “Good,” says Artur, acting as if the place unsettles him. Soon, Artur excuses himself and goes to the bathroom, which is a sign to viewers that Logan is in for a nasty surprise.

As Logan sits on the couch and flips through the BnB guest directory, the television suddenly turns on at full volume with static. As Logan unsuccessfully tries to turn off the television, the screen switches from static to black and white footage of a strange woman who appears to be in the same room as him. When Logan realizes he’s staring at the tape of the familiar living room, he becomes a little suspicious.

Logan watches, fascinated, as the woman in the video sits on the couch when a tall man enters the room through the front door. “Hello,” the man says a little too friendly to the woman. “Hey,” the woman replies cautiously. Logan continues to stare at the footage, wondering what the hell is going on. Just when it becomes clear that something bad is about to happen, Logan begins to look around the room worriedly. Clearly a nervous eater, Logan reaches for a cookie, takes a bite, and turns back to the TV.
