Man, 56, arrested for aggravated assault in Manhattan

MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A man was behind bars at the Riley County Jail after his arrest Thursday in connection with aggravated assault, authorities said.

The man arrested was identified as David Combs, 56, of Manhattan.

According to Riley County police, Combs was arrested around 9:15 a.m. Thursday in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road.

He was subsequently booked into the Riley County Jail on a charge of aggravated assault, officials said.

Combs’ total bail was set at $7,500 and officials said he remained in jail as of Friday morning.

Further details were not available late Friday morning.
