Staunton man killed in crash in Rockbridge County

ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) – A Staunton man has been identified as the victim of a crash in Rockbridge County on Thursday.

According to Virginia State Police, 75-year-old John Edward Nelson Young died as a result of an accident after being taken to a hospital.

According to police, the accident occurred at 10:30 p.m. on October 17 on Route 60 at the Westley Chapel Road intersection in Rockbridge County.

Young was driving a Buick Lucerne and, according to police, went off the right side of the road, hit the guardrail, then continued over the embankment and rolled over several times.
