DOCUMENT: Second arrest in Southeast shooting

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced the arrest of 21-year-old Donte Bennett, who is charged with assault with intent to kill with an armed weapon, for his alleged involvement in a shooting that left one person injured on July 24 in the 1800 block of Marion Barry Avenue, SE.

Previously, on August 28, another 21-year-old man from Southeast, DC was arrested and charged with the same crime.
