The reports of white powder led to an arrest.

The reports of white powder led to an arrest. At approximately 11:10 a.m. Tuesday morning (October 15), the Iowa County 911 dispatch center on County Highway Q in Dodgeville Township received a call reporting a suspicious bag of white powder in a mailbox. At approximately 12:15 p.m., the Iowa County 911 dispatch center on East North Street in the town of Dodgeville received a call about a suspicious bag of white powder in a mailbox.

Both bags tested suspected positive for the presence of fentanyl and cocaine. Tyler W. Marking, 29, of Dodgeville, was taken into custody Tuesday evening at 6:10 p.m. Marking was taken to the Iowa County Jail, where he remains on probation. A flag was also made for the offenses of Recklessly Endangering Safety in the Second Degree (two counts), Felony Delivery of Cocaine (two counts), Felony Delivery of Fentanyl (two counts), Felony Delivery of Psilocin and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
