Football Playoffs Field and Matchup Reveal Show – October 19th at 10am

STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association will announce the qualifying fields and pairings for the 2024 11- and 8-player football playoffs during a live, one-hour broadcast on the WIAA State Tournament Network broadcasters and on the websites of the WIAA State Tournament Network on Saturday, October 19 Channels stream 10 a.m

The station network includes WKOW-TV in Madison, WXOW-TV in La Crosse, WAOW-TV in Wausau and WQOW in Eau Claire. WAOW-TV News Director Brad Hanson and sports anchor Keegan Hewitt will serve as hosts of the show, which will announce the playoff field and first-round games for seven divisions in 11-player soccer and one division in 8-player soccer. There will be 224 teams that qualify for the 11-team postseason and four playoff stages before the state championship final. The state finals will be held Thursday through Friday, Nov. 21 and 22, at Camp Randall in Madison. Sixteen teams will participate in the eight-player postseason with three playoff stages leading up to the state championship final, which will be played Saturday, Nov. 16, at Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln High School and broadcast live on WIAA.TV.

Complete brackets and the Level 1 schedule will be available on the WIAA website immediately following the live announcement of bracket pairings.

There are 410 football teams eligible to participate in the 2024 Football Playoffs, 360 are 11-player programs and 50 are 8-player programs.
