Apopka police are searching for Mustang involved in a hit-and-run accident

APOPKA, Fla — Apopka police are searching for a Ford Mustang that investigators say was involved in a hit-and-run accident in September.

Officers also hope to identify the tow truck that towed the Ford away, police said on social media.

The accident occurred Sept. 17 on Main Street in downtown Apopka, the post said.

The photos included show a dark-colored Mustang – with what appear to be lighter racing stripes on the hood – being pulled by a white pickup truck with stickers on the sides.
