Capitol Police are investigating a break-in at Dollar General

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Capitol Police are investigating after a Dollar General was broken into Thursday evening.

According to DPS spokeswoman Bailey Martin, the incident occurred at the Dollar General at 1095 Highway 80 around 11:50 p.m.

When officers arrived, broken glass was present and the safety cage was damaged. No items were found in the store.

After reviewing surveillance footage, a black male wearing a blue hooded jacket and gray pants was seen leaving the scene.

So far there have been no arrests.
