At least one was seriously injured in a rollover accident on Thursday – first update for the state

Officials are investigating a crash that occurred Thursday evening in Newark.

Last night at 7:12 p.m., emergency responders from Aetna, Hose, Hook and Ladder, along with New Castle County Paramedics and Trooper 4 of the Delaware State Police Aviation responded to a rollover accident at the intersection of Corner Ketch Road and Papermill Road.

Preliminary information suggests that up to three people were examined at the scene. A seriously injured patient was transported by ambulance to Christiana Hospital for further treatment.

Initial reports indicate that good Samaritans assisted before emergency personnel arrived on scene.
