A woman has been arrested following an early morning knife attack in Charleston, police said

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS) — Charleston police responded to a knife attack early Friday morning that resulted in an arrest.

A female suspect has been charged with malicious wounding after she injured a man, officials told Eyewitness News.

The incident was reported by dispatchers in the 1200 block of Griffin Drive around 4:30 a.m

Police said the victim was stabbed in the leg and was not cooperating with investigators.
