Student injured in attack at Jenifer Elementary School

WALDORF, MD. – On Oct. 17, a student at Jenifer Elementary School was struck in the head multiple times by another student. The injured student was treated by a school nurse and then transported to a hospital by emergency services as a precaution.

As per MD Act, the student cannot be charged any fee based on his or her age; However, the school resource officer will notify the Charles County Department of Juvenile Services.

Anyone with information is asked to call Cpl. Caballero at 301-609-3282 ext 0573. The investigation is ongoing.
