Assault reported at Nashua NH Mine Falls Park – NBC Boston

Police in Nashua, New Hampshire, are urging people to exercise caution at a park in the city after several assaults were reported there this week.

According to Nashua police, officers responded to Mine Falls Park around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday to a report of a man physically assaulting women on the park’s trails. Five incidents have been reported in recent days and detectives are actively investigating the series of attacks.

Police released a picture of the male suspect and said he was about 30 years old, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and was wearing all black clothing and a white N95 mask. The suspect was riding a mountain bike on the trails, and police say that as he passed women on the trails, he slapped them from behind and then rode away.

No one was injured in any of the reported incidents, police said, urging anyone using Mine Falls Park to exercise caution and travel with a companion for safety reasons.

Nashua police said they are actively investigating these incidents and ask anyone who has been a victim of a similar situation to contact Crime Stoppers at 603-589-1665.
