La Salle County Fugitive Wanted for Sexual Assault of Child Captured in Indiana – Shaw Local

A man wanted for predatory sexual assault of a child was arrested in Indiana.

La Salle police said in a news release Thursday that 43-year-old Phillip A. Weeks was picked up in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and taken to the Allen County (Indiana) Jail to await extradition to La Salle County waited.

La Salle Police were assisted by the La Salle County Sheriff’s Office, the U.S. Marshals Service, the La Salle County Prosecutor’s Office and the Fort Wayne Police Department.

The arrest followed a report of suspected child abuse filed on Aug. 27.
