Numerous Whitman County levies appear on the general election ballot

The city is also proposing to renew a $60,000 levy for water and service upgrades, well and water system improvements, and wastewater plant replacement within city limits. Property owners would pay $150 per $100,000 of assessed home value.

The City of Tekoa is imposing a $50,000 levy to continue funding street and sidewalk improvements, paving College, Lake and Howard streets and sealing streets in the northwest part of the city. Homeowners would pay $150 per $100,000 of assessed home value.

Uniontown is requiring a parking levy to generate funds for ongoing maintenance and improvements over the next two years. Property owners would pay $75 per $100,000 of assessed home value in 2025 and 2026.

There will also be a two-year levy to fund operations, programs and capital improvements at the Uniontown Public Library. Homeowners would pay $25 per $100,000 of assessed home value in 2025 and 2026.

Whitman County Fire District 6 in Endicott is requesting the extension of a $40,000 levy for four years to fund general operations and maintenance of the station. Property owners would pay $38 per $100,000 of assessed home value from 2025 to 2028.

LaCrosse Parks and Recreation is proposing a $75,000 levy to continue to support operations, maintenance and capital improvements to the pool and existing buildings. Homeowners would pay $31 per $100,000 of assessed home value.

Rosalia Parks and Recreation collects a $98,500 levy to fund the operation and maintenance of the Rosalia Park and Swimming Pool. Homeowners would pay $48 per $100,000 of assessed home value.

Tekoa Parks and Recreation is calling for the renewal of a $130,000 levy for the maintenance and operation of local parks, including repairing sprinklers and cleaning up dead trees and the pool by replacing pool tarps and funding lifeguard salaries . Property owners would pay $163 per $100,000 of assessed home value.

Endicott Parks and Recreation is proposing a $65,000 levy to fund pool maintenance, including pool installations, lifeguard wages, insurance and utilities. Homeowners would pay $45 per $100,000 of assessed home value.

Whitman County Cemetery District 2 in Garfield charges a $120,000 levy to cover operations and maintenance costs such as sprinkler upgrades, tree removal, a veterans memorial, columbarium development, headstone resetting corrections, equipment updates and grounds improvements . Property owners would pay $112 per $100,000 of assessed home value.

Whitman County Cemetery District 4 is requesting the renewal of a $40,000 levy for the maintenance and operation of Endicott Cemetery. Homeowners would pay $40 per $100,000 of assessed home value.
