Off-duty NYPD traffic officer arrested for assault in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — An off-duty New York employee was arrested Thursday in the 69th Precinct, police said. The arrest occurred around 11:37 a.m

Jasmine Joseph, a 33-year-old NYPD traffic officer, was charged with second-degree assault, officials said.

Details about the circumstances of the alleged attack were not immediately known. Authorities reported no injuries related to the incident.

The case remains under investigation by the NYPD.
