Two injured after shooting in downtown Palm Springs

Investigators confirmed that a fight occurred between people who appeared to be juveniles at Graffiti Park in downtown Palm Springs. One person reportedly pulled out a gun and began shooting.

Palm Springs police officers were on scene late Thursday evening.

Investigators said they were working to identify the suspect, who was still at large.

A witness who did not want to be named told News Channel 3 he was nearby when shots were fired. He said he heard about five gunshots and saw about a hundred people disperse from the area. He said he saw two teenagers on the ground surrounded by paramedics.
