Travis Kelce is thrilled as the Cleveland Guardians earn a dramatic MLB playoff win over the New York Yankees

A jubilant Travis Kelce couldn’t hide his joy after the Cleveland Guardians’ dramatic MLB playoff victory over the New York Yankees on Thursday night.

The Guardians pulled off a stunning late comeback in their battle for the American League championship against the Yankees, who were on the verge of taking a 3-0 series lead when back-to-back home runs gave them a 5-3 lead heading into the ninth -gave a head start.

But just as New York was on the cusp of the World Series, outfielder Jhonkensy Noel forced an extra inning with a sensational, game-winning home run before utility player David Fry proved a hero for Cleveland with a walk-off home run.

And Kelce, who was born about 15 miles west of Cleveland, was ecstatic after his beloved baseball team’s remarkable home win.

The NFL star wrote on X after the game: “Playoff baseball baby!!!” @CleGuardians are absolutely rocking the city tonight!! What a game!’

Kelce was in attendance at the first game of the series on Monday night after going to Yankee Stadium with his girlfriend Taylor Swift.

The loved-up couple watched New York take a 1-0 lead against Cleveland, with Swift at one point left speechless after an incredible home run from Yankees star Juan Soto.

It was the second sporting event Travis and Taylor attended in the Big Apple in recent weeks, after watching the US Open men’s tennis final on September 8 with friends Patrick and Brittany Mahomes.

As they took the Bronx by storm, Kelce was spotted wearing a Monogram Craggy necklace while cozying up to the pop megastar in her suite.

The statement piece retails for $975 and adds sparkle to an otherwise minimalist Kansas City Chiefs outfit.

Kelce enjoyed a week of quality time with Swift during his team’s bye week.

The reigning champions do not return to play until Sunday when they face the San Francisco 49ers in a Super Bowl rematch after their last game on October 7th

Kelce has made sure to enjoy every free moment with his girlfriend before she heads back on her Eras tour on Friday, although he joked in a clip on TikTok that he did “nothing” in his farewell week.

He was a happy man Thursday night after Cleveland rose from the dead and claimed victory over New York.

In a wild, back-and-forth contest that required the intensity of extra innings, the Guardians won Game 3 of the ALCS with a 7-5 victory.

Cleveland took a 3-1 lead in the game before giving up back-to-back home runs to Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton. This gave the Yankees a 4-3 lead at the start of the eighth, which was extended to 5-3 in the following inning.

But it was pinch-hitter Jhonkensy Noel who tied the game with a whopping two-run home run that forced extra innings.

There, in the bottom of the tenth, David Fry launched a 399-foot shot with a runner on third base to give Cleveland the victory.
