Funeral arrangements made for beloved Collierville Police Chief

COLLIERVILLE, Tenn. (WMC) – Details were announced tonight for the memorial service for the late Collierville Police Department Deputy Chief Jeff Abeln.

CPD announced his death Tuesday; The service will be at 10 a.m. Oct. 23 at Central Church in Collierville

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in Chief Abeln’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Chief Abeln dedicated 37 years of service to the department and the Collierville community.
