Jason Smith: Dennis Allen will be the next fired NFL head coach | News Radio WTAM 1100

Jason Smith and Mike Harmon react to the Broncos’ win over the Saints on Thursday Night Football. After a game in which New Orleans didn’t look even remotely competitive, Jason and Mike wonder if head coach Dennis Allen will be the next one to be cut for possession reasons.

Jason Smith: “It’s hard for me not to believe that Dennis Allen will be the next head coach to be fired in the NFL… certain losses – anything that happens on national television – are a bigger deal… That was one.” Saints team that has shown over the last month that they simply have nothing to offer due to injuries and ineffectiveness. They have no offense, their defense is poor… they can’t attack! This is an example of that [a lack of] Effort and lack of urgency, and then a coach gets fired.

Mike Harmon: “Here’s the thing…The Broncos aren’t even a good team.” [and they blew the Saints out]!… Next up the Saints play the Chargers, [and they’re a better team than the Broncos!]… The Broncos are getting nothing on both sides, and that’s sad.”
