An NYPD traffic officer was arrested on assault charges following a domestic incident, according to police

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) — An NYPD traffic officer was charged and arrested Thursday afternoon, according to police.

According to police, 33-year-old Jasmine Joseph was involved in a domestic fight.

More local news

Officers from the 69th Precinct charged Joseph with second-degree assault.

“Intent to inflict grievous bodily harm on someone and to cause actual serious physical injury to that person or another person” is defined as second-degree assault, according to the New York State Senate.
