Akhil’s Next is a period drama?

Akhil’s most awaited agent in Surender Reddy’s management ended up being a disaster, leaving the young man with another flop to his credit. After five films and no real success, Akhil Akkineni decided to face the fans only when he scored a hit. Nagarjuna himself unveiled it during the ANR 100th birth anniversary celebrations.

According to the latest reports, Akhil Akkineni’s next project seems to be wrapped up. Akhil is directed by Murali Kishore of Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha fame. The film is said to be a historical drama set in the backdrop of Tirupati.

We hear that the script work has been completed and pre-production is underway. Nagarjuna is producing the film under the Annapurna Studios banner.

Looks like Akhil and Nagarjuna have decided to score a sure hit with #Akhil6.
