A knife attack on a family leaves one dead in the Central Valley

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police are investigating a knife attack on a Central Valley family that left one person dead.

Police responded at 2:30 a.m. to a report of an incident near Decatur and Sahara

LVMPD reportedly found a man inside the apartment suffering from stab wounds.

The victim was taken to the hospital and later died.

According to police, the unknown victim argued with his son-in-law, which led to the stabbing.

Aristides Matute, 31, was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on an open murder charge.

The Clark County Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s identity and cause of death at a later date.
