The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury will appoint the next township manager

LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) – The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury (CPPJ) has named Dane Bolin as the next parish manager.

According to CPPJ, Bolin currently serves as assistant township manager, a position he has held since May 2010. Bolin previously worked at the Office of Juvenile Justice Services (OJJS) beginning in 1991 and served as OJJS director from 2007 to 2010.

Bolin’s appointment is effective April 1, 2025, CPPJ said.

“I am deeply humbled and humbled to accept the position of parish administrator, effective April of next year,” Bolin said in a statement. “This role brings with it tremendous responsibility and I am truly grateful for the trust this elected body has placed in me.”

Bolin will replace current township manager Bryan Beam, who will retire March 31, 2025. Beam has served in this role since 2010.
