Seriously missing adult found dead Thursday afternoon: Williamsburg Police

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (AP) — Virginia State Police canceled an urgent missing adult alert for a Williamsburg man less than 24 hours after he was reported missing.

Search and rescue teams found 21-year-old Evan Alexander Way dead in a wooded area near Rolfe Road in Williamsburg on Thursday afternoon. Way was last seen on Ukrop Way Wednesday afternoon before he was reported missing.

Police do not believe Way’s death was the result of a crime.
