Mead man dies in motorcycle accident

BRYAN COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) – A Mead man died in a crash on US-70 Thursday afternoon.

According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers, a Colbert man, Ryan Kozikowski, 51, ran the stop sign on Lavenworth Trail and struck 64-year-old James Waters, who was riding his motorcycle on the highway.

Waters was pronounced dead at the scene and an OHP report said Kozikowski was driving under the influence of drugs.
