Live updates from the Donald Trump and Kamala Harris campaigns and polls

Here’s the latest on the Trump-Harris race:

Former President Donald Trump will speak Thursday evening at the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation dinner, held each year in Manhattan. This is a Catholic fundraiser that has in the past provided rare moments of levity — especially in an election year when candidates can fire up one another and mock each other.

Vice President Kamala Harris dodges dinner. (But we will be there.)

Instead, Harris finds herself in battleground Wisconsin, taking on Milwaukee, La Crosse and Green Bay after giving her first-ever Fox News interview last night: a tense grilling from host Brett Baier in which she asked questions about some of the biggest concerns of the Americans, including those at the border, rejected politics and Biden’s fitness for office.
