“The Last Wardens” is getting radio drama and TTRPG adaptations

Comic artist Amit Tishler (Edenfrost) and Elliot Sperl (Bob’s Burgers, The Great North) announced new adaptations for their horror comic series The Last Guardians. These adaptations include a trade paperback edition, an immersive radio play, and a tabletop role-playing game.

Tishler said: “What awaits us The Last Guardians will completely redefine the universe we created. It’s been a long-time dream to bring our story to new media, and we couldn’t be more excited to reveal the next chapters.”

Sperl explained, “As a lifelong fan of comics and storytelling, I bring The Last Guardians Bringing it to life as a radio play and tabletop role-playing game is surreal. And believe me – this is just the beginning.”

• The Last Wardens Trade Paperback Edition

In collaboration with the US comic publisher Mad Cave Studios The Last Guardians The trade paperback will be released on March 11, 2025. This special edition brings together all six issues of the series in one hardcover volume, offering readers the complete saga in a single collection.

The first full episode of the radio play will be produced by Los Angeles-based Encyclopocalypse Publications and will be released on March 11, 2025, the same day as the trade paperback release. This audio adventure delves deep into the dark corners of The Last Guardians universe, offering a completely immersive experience that will keep listeners on the edge of their seats.

• The Last Guardians Tabletop role-playing game

Visitors to New York Comic Con (NYCC) are offered a little foretaste The Last Guardians Tabletop role-playing game developed by TTRPG manufacturer Studio Far Horizons. Both the limited print and digital versions will be available for purchase starting March 11, 2025.
