Pregnant sexual assault victim was given abortion drugs, court heard

A pregnant woman was reportedly sexually abused and suffered a miscarriage after being given abortion drugs.

The victim, who cannot be named, was given mifepristone and misoprostol and lost her baby while 15 weeks pregnant at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital in the summer of 2022, Norwich Crown Court heard.

Stuart Worby, 39, of Malthouse Court, Dereham, denies two counts of sexual assault and a charge of administering a poison or using an instrument with intent to cause a miscarriage.

Wayne Finney, 41, of Station Street, Swaffham, denied intentionally aiding or abetting the commission of the offense by supplying the drugs.
