Accident on I-15 near Idaho Falls causing traffic delays

IDAHO FALLS – An accident involving a semi-truck blocked lanes near Idaho Falls on Thursday.

According to Idaho 511, the accident occurred on Interstate 15 near the Great Western Canal. Due to the accident, all northbound lanes are closed and motorists should expect delays. The warning was posted at 11:45 a.m

An image sent to EastIdahoNews.com shows the tractor-trailer spread across the lanes in a traffic jam.

Idaho State Police Lt. Marvin Crain said they responded and there were no injuries.
