Remedy Entertainment’s first multiplayer title is revealed as FBC Firebreak

Project Condor has been revealed.

fans of the control Franchises are launching their next big release in the form of a multiplayer game. In case you don’t remember, Remedy Entertainment announced that they are working on a multiplayer title. What’s special about it is that this is the first time they’ve worked on a multiplayer video game. So we are of course excited to see how it works. This game was officially just known as Condor. During the Xbox Partner Showcase, it was announced that the game’s official name was FBC firebreak.

FBC firebreak is a spin-off from control this puts players in the role of agents within the Federal Bureau of Control. Here you work as a three-player squad to deal with the parenteral activities that are invading the headquarters. Of course, since we’re seeing the game for the first time, the details are still a bit sparse.

Through the Xbox Wirewe got a glimpse into how developers were forced to think a little differently when creating a multiplayer project. Everything from level creation to gameplay design had to be taken into consideration since this wasn’t another single player experience.

Every game you create is challenging and requires a little recalibration. With FBC: FirebreakOf course, being an online co-op shooter requires a completely different mindset on many fronts. The way we create the levels, approach the gameplay, how we recalibrate the technology and the backend so we can quickly respond to potential issues once the game is live, the matchmaking, the patching frequency, the community Management etc. There’s a lot to figure out, it’s definitely a challenge. – Communications Director Thomas Puha

In addition, this is pointed out FBC firebreak is a simple learning and gaming experience. This should be refreshing because it looks like the developers aren’t interested in players going through a ton of tutorials and guides to get the hang of things.

FBC: Firebreak It should be easy to learn and quick to understand, you shouldn’t feel like it’s a second job or that you have to spend an hour setting up your loadouts etc before you can start a session. This is not this game. It’s a take-and-play learning experience [about] Have fun with your friends when you have time. That cannot be said that FBC: Firebreak While there’s no deep player progression or things to unlock, this isn’t about logging in every day for loot or fear of missing out on materials. – Communications Director Thomas Puha

Of course, it will be interesting to see how this game performs when it finally hits the market. Remedy Entertainment is known for story-driven single-player experiences, so we’re guessing this game took them a bit out of their comfort zone. At least we know that FBC firebreak Publication is scheduled for 2025. In the meantime, check out the debut announcement trailer in the video embedded below.
