“The Porch Previews Oklahoma City’s Halloween Music Show”

Organizers are hosting a Halloween rock show at a historic music hall in Oklahoma on Thursday.

Formerly known as the Oklahoma Opry, the venue now known as the Resonant Head will host “Purgatory: A Halloween Rock Show” starting at 8 p.m

Doors to the venue open at 7 p.m. But the Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages Porch stopped by to see what the show had to offer.

The show is suitable for all ages and will feature local artists such as World Peace Death Ray, J + the Bishops and Trilogy.

Patrick, one of the band members of World Peace Death Ray, said that Resonant Head has been open since April 2023 and they have performed hundreds of times since then.

“This room was built in 1953,” Patrick said. “It was actually called ‘Nag Station’ and was the dining room of the Oklahoma Opry, which was right next door. We have been open since April 2023 and are just rocking. We’ve done 200 shows here and we “I just love it.”
