Darien arrests Chicago attack suspect

DARIEN, IL – Darien Police released their latest blotter Thursday. Here you can find information from the reports:

Arrest warrant

  • A 30-year-old Chicago man was arrested around 7:30 a.m. Saturday on a Cook County warrant for assault. An officer stopped the man in the 8600 block of Lemont Road for a clogged windshield. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

  • A 43-year-old Darien woman living in the 7200 block of Leonard Drive was arrested around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday on a DuPage County warrant for failure to appear in court on a drunken driving charge. She was arrested while officers investigated another matter. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • A 27-year-old Burr Ridge man was arrested around 8 p.m. Saturday on two DuPage County warrants for failure to appear in court. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

  • On Sunday, an officer was called to a report of graffiti near the crosswalk on the southeast corner of the intersection of 69th Street and Richmond Avenue.

  • A 22-year-old Lemont man was arrested about 1 a.m. Monday in the 8700 block of Lemont Road on charges of driving under the influence, speeding and failing to yield the right of way for an emergency vehicle. Police said the man was driving at a speed of 60 miles per hour in a 40 mph zone. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
