Día de los Muertos: Day of the Dead

Bring the whole family to Day of the Dead weekend events at the National Museum of the American Indian!

Participate in activities such as dance performances, artist demonstrations, the unique art of sawdust carpets, painting activities, and making paper marigolds and masks.

Visitors are also welcome to leave photos and memorabilia of their loved ones on the site ofrenda (altar) or memorialize them by writing their names on a butterfly and attaching it to the memorial arch.
